INDONESIA my beloved country

In this post I want to tell you more about my home country, Indonesia. I am so proud to be part of the Indonesian from all sides, in a good side or the bad sides. And I will tell much to you all about Indonesia. Because I think many of you have not understood correctly or may not know everything about Indonesia. I will tell you about the system of government, Sang Saka Merah Putih, the language we used, natural resources, type of animals, the culture and tourism object in there.

First of all, I will tell you about the government system in Indonesia. Indonesian governance system is different from Malaysia which uses the kingdom system; but Indonesia use republic and democracy system in their country. The government led by president and vice president who is domiciled in the State Palace, Jakarta. Jakarta is the capital of the state and central government of the republic of Indonesia.

Like other country, Indonesian also have a Flag for the identity, the flag of Indonesia consists of a horizontal red stripe over top of an equally sized horizontal white stripe. And the name of this flag is Sang Saka Merah Putih. Certainly the color in this flag have a mean, the red stripe symbolizes blood and represents the human body; and the white stripe represents the soul and the spirit; and when we put together the red and white represent a complete human being from Indonesian.

Indonesia has five large islands, namely Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Irian Jaya. About the population in there, Indonesia ranked fourth on the world's largest population after China, America and India. The most densely populated island in Indonesia is Java, because there is where the center of all activities from this country (livelihoods and school). Much people move to Java from other island just to find a job and a good school.

Indonesia has much of natural resources, Indonesia has fertile soil, and it makes Indonesia has a variety of plants that support to get the foreign exchange for their country.All Indonesian are required to learn Indonesian language in their school, and use it as their mandatory language. Positive side from it is that all Indonesian can speak fluently using the Indonesian language, however the negative side of it is we cannot fluent in a foreign language, although foreign language lessons at school is always a compulsory subject, but that language very rare to practice.

Indonesia had many kind of animal which is divided to three types which spread in three locations:

Fauna type Asiatis, occupies the western part of Indonesia. In this area there are many different types of large mammals such as elephants, tigers, rhinos, bears,etc.

Fauna Australis type occupies the eastern part of Indonesia. In this region there are kinds of animals like kangaroos, bird of paradise, cockatoos, etc.

The transition and the native fauna, occupies in the central part of Indonesia. In this region there are kinds of animals like monkey, possum, pigs, deer, buffalo and Maleo.

Indonesia also has a variety of cultures in each place, which is still cultivated today and become a special attraction for foreign tourists if they go there. Indonesia also has many interesting places which must to visit, such as:

Bali Island

Bali it’s the famous place in Indonesia which known all world, and from Bali, Indonesia get the largest foreign exchange. Bali had many beaches, which are Tanah Lot, Sanur, Kuta, Ulu Watu, Dream Land, Legian, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, and Lovina Beach.

Beside have many tourism object, Bali have many culture inside, like:
Potong Gigi ceremony it’s a ceremony for cutting teeth are eroded six upper teeth are shaped tusks. The purpose of this ceremony is to reduce the bad character that person.

Samosir Island

Samosir Island is a volcanic island in the middle of Toba Lake, Sumatra Utara.An island with an altitude of 1000 meters above sea make this island attract by many tourist. You can go there by Ferryboat in Tuktuk or travel by land through Panguruan (place where Samosir Island connected with Sumatra).

In this island also have two narrow lakes for tourism object, which is Sidihoni Lake and Aek Natonang Lake.

East Kalimantan

Many tourism objects in here, that’s mix of the nature, flora and fauna, history and the culture (Ecotourism).

Erau Ceremony; coronation King of Kutai Kartanegara

Kombeng Cave; the location is inside of Kombeng Montain, in here you can found inheritance statue from Mulawarman, stalactite and stalagmite.

Derawan archipelago has the rich potential of marine and one of marine department state the diversity of marine parks and marine life that live on that island it occupies third position in the world. This island equipped with the cottages, restaurants, boat and other diving equipment.

Bangkirai Hill is a part of virgin tropical forest in here. You can found Canopy Bridge and some variety of rare bird. This place also use for research and nature observation. Near Hill of Bangkirai you can found place live for Dayak people, which still virgin from outside world.
